Drink Driving Statistics

The Association of Chief Police Officers, have confirmed that from 1 December 2009 to 1 January 2010 223,423 drivers were breath tested – a rise of 21.82 per cent on the previous year.
A total of 7,638 drivers were arrested after breath tests in England and Wales between these dates.
