Gerry is a solicitor and has been conducting personal injury claims for over 15 years. He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Birmingham Medico Legal Society.
Throughout his legal career Gerry has handled a wide variety of personal injury claims, predominantly workplace accidents, road traffic accidents and slips, trips and falls. These cases ranged from the straightforward to those involving complex issues of law. In particular, Gerry dealt with the landmark Court of Appeal case Mullaney v Chief Constable of West Midlands Police [2001]All ER (D) 191 (May) relating to the duty of care owed to Police Officers.
Furthermore, Gerry has considerable experience of applications to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority and has provided training and education on this subject both in house and externally to organisations such as Victim Support.
Gerry is married and has two young children. When he is not being a taxi service for his kids Gerry likes playing football and badminton, and listening to music.
