Q1. Can my claim be dealt with on a No Win No Fee basis?

Trinity Law Partnership are able to offer No Win No Fee Agreements.

These agreements have been around a long time, but what do they actually mean?

Essentially in general terms if you enter into a No Win No Fee Agreement with us it means;

  1. If you lose your claim you do not pay our costs.
  1. If you win your claim we may ask you make a contribution towards our costs but such contribution would be capped at 25% of your compensation.
  1. If you have suffered what we would categorise as a serious injury where you have good prospects of success with your claim, we will not ask you to make a contribution towards our costs.

We are happy to talk to you more about funding so please get in touch for a free assessment of your claim.

Q2. Will my claim be successful?

In order to succeed with a claim for compensation you must be able to prove “on balance of probability” that your injuries were caused by the negligence of another party.

In most cases we ought to be able to give you our preliminary view on your prospects of success when you first make contact with us.

Q3. How long will my claim take?

This can depend on many factors, such as whether negligence is admitted by the Defendant and the seriousness of your injuries.

Where liability is admitted and the injuries are not serious an average claim might take somewhere between 6-12 months. Where negligence is in dispute or the injuries are serious the claim is likely to take longer.

What is important however is that the claim is settled at the right time for the right amount.

Whilst of course you will want your claim dealt with quickly, as soon as your claim settles there is no opportunity to return at a later date for further compensation should your symptoms continue and therefore settling too quickly can often not be in your best interests

Q4. How much is my claim worth?

Subject to proving negligence you can claim compensation for the injuries you have sustained and any reasonable financial losses you have already suffered and may suffer in the future.

Whilst some companies might speculate as to the value of your claim at the initial contact stage, in fact it is not possible to give an accurate valuation of your claim until we obtain medical evidence on your injuries.

As soon as medical evidence is received we will be able to advise you on the value of your claim.
