Usually there are two main reasons why a client might seek a second opinion from a different solicitor.
Firstly where your case has been turned down by your solicitor
If your claim has been turned down by your solicitor you may want to consider inviting another solicitor to have a look at the paperwork. At Trinity Law Partnership we are frequently asked to do this. Of course on many occasions we might agree with the advice already given however there are some instances where we would not agree and have continued to pursue the claim on behalf of the client to a successful conclusion.
Secondly where you are not happy with the service you are receiving
If you are dissatisfied with the service you are receiving from your current solicitor we would first of all encourage you to raise your concerns with that solicitor. Very often issues that trouble clients can often be easily rectified by a phone call or face to face meeting and we would therefore never seek to persuade you to consider changing solicitors where it appeared unnecessary or unwarranted.
Nevertheless if your concerns are not being addressed as you would wish you may consider seeking a second opinion with a view to moving your claim elsewhere.
